Experian sued for reporting a different score to consumers than to the banks

The Consumerist reports about a lawsuit filed in California which alleges that when Experian sells you your credit score for $15 a month it is not the same number they provide to lenders who run a credit check.  It is undisputed that Experian sells you a different score, called a PLUS score, than your FICO score, which is the score creditors use.  The question for the courts is whether Experian is misleading consumers by providing the PLUS score on sites like freecreditreport.com.
